Building partnership with the Nursing Department was a great way of supporting the Liberian Ministry of Health (MOH) Strategic Health Policy! I along with my team had a resourceful meeting with Mrs. Diana T. Sarteh, Chief Nursing and Midwifery Officer, head of Nursing Department, Liberian Minister of Health and her team at MOH today.
Collaborating Against Poverty (CAP) Liberia Senior Leadership team paid a courtesy visit to the Minister to support health programs through her “Nurse Excellence Award Project” being implemented in Montserrado County. During the meeting, the Ministry of Health appointed a focus person Josephine Tegbeh, to speed up communication and activities aimed at supporting Liberia’s strategic health plan. The meeting centered on strategic collaboration that we envisioned between Collaborating Against Poverty (CAP) Liberia and the Ministry of Health.
CAP team was represented by its Country Director, Selah S. Ngangawulor, Program Lead, Moses Kollia, and Child Protection and Safeguarding Officer – Programs, Lawrence C. Gussin.
